A Simple Way to Share Communion Together
There’s no perfect way to do this.
You don’t need to be a pastor.
You don’t need special words.
Communion is simply a way to pause, remember Jesus, and receive again the grace He offers us.

When to do it . . .
You can share communion later tonight, sometime this week, or whenever it feels right for you.
You can do this with your family, with friends, or quietly on your own.
You can do this with your family, with friends, or quietly on your own.
How to do it . . .
1. Create a quiet moment
Turn off distractions. Take a breath. Gather whoever you’re with — or sit quietly on your own.
2. Remember the story
Jesus came to be with us. He gave His life so we could be forgiven, healed, and made new.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
3. Receive the bread
Hold the bread and remember Jesus’ words:
"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19
4. Receive the cup
Hold the cup and remember Jesus’ words:
"In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." Luke 22:20
5. Say thank you
End with a simple prayer — out loud or silently.
Christmas reminds us that God came close.
Communion reminds us that He still does.
May this small moment help you remember that you are loved, forgiven, and not alone.
If this is new to you, or if you have questions, you’re always welcome to reach out or come back and talk with us.
No Pressure. Just Presence
