Paul grew up in east central Illinois on the family farm.  He then attended Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas, where he received his bachelor's in Christian Education and Youth Ministry.  He was on staff at Haviland Friends Church for 12 years as the Christian Education and Youth Ministry Pastor.  During this time he received his Masters in Family Counseling from Friends University, Wichita, KS.  While living in Kansas he started following the KU basketball team and is a die hard fan.  Rock Chalk!  

The past 29 years have been spent living in Indiana as the Family and Small Groups Pastor at Brookville Road Community Church in New Palestine.  Paul has taken students to over 5 countries on mission trips.  He feels that cross-cultural experiences are really helpful in helping students and adults learn how to serve others.  

Paul joined our staff in October of 2022 as the Greensburg Campus Pastor.  

Paul loves doing ministry with his wife, Amy.  They have been married 32 years.  Paul thoroughly enjoys spending time with his adult children Katie (married to Lee), Alex, and Danielle.
