John is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management from Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. He also has a Masters of Business Administration from Kent State University. John spent 20+ years working in executive management and marketing roles for two different global medical device manufacturers.

Following God’s call to impact lives for Him, John joined the Community Church team in September 2016.  He oversees administration and finances, as well as leads several adult ministries (including Community Groups and Missions). He and his wife, Melissa, have three beautiful girls, Sommer, Skye and Ella.
